Today was very exciting for Mary and I - we went to a small town in the country (Tarata - famous for it's potters) to look at some of the ceramic work shops and see what we could learn. Coop-art is hoping to collaborate with some of these professionals to acquire some clay so they can begin working on mosaic tile making and hopefully with Mary's help (that is if we decide to stay here in Cochabamba).
This here is one of the wood-fire ovens (they actually use nut shells from a nearby factory because it burns hotter and it's more economic)
